Refund Policy

The short version: Your first 7 days are free. After that, your yogdaan covers exactly one period — one month (₹299) or one year (₹2,999). There is no auto-debit. When the period ends, you choose whether to renew. Yogdaan once given is not refunded.

This Refund Policy explains how yogdaan (contributions) work, what happens at the end of each paid period, and our stance on refunds. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

01How Yogdaan Works

Days 1–7

Free Trial

You receive the complete Service for seven mornings. No card information is required. No charge is made. If you wish to discontinue at any point during these 7 days, simply reply "stop" or do nothing — and the Service ends with no obligation on either side.

Day 8

Yogdaan Decision

On Day 8, we send you a yogdaan link via WhatsApp. You may choose:

  • Monthly yogdaan — ₹299 (covers 30 days)
  • Annual yogdaan — ₹2,999 (covers 365 days, equivalent to two months free)

If you do not pay by Day 10, the Service pauses automatically. There is no obligation, no follow-up pressure, and no charge.

During Your Paid Period

Service Delivery

Your yogdaan covers exactly the period you paid for. Daily messages arrive at 6 AM IST every day. You may pause delivery temporarily at any time by replying "pause", but the underlying period continues regardless. Pausing does not extend your period.

End of Period

Renewal — Your Choice

3 days before your paid period ends, we send a renewal yogdaan link via WhatsApp. There is no auto-debit. You actively choose to renew, or you don't. If you don't, the Service stops at the end of your paid period. You may resume later anytime — your past streak data is preserved for 90 days after the period ends.

02No Refunds

Yogdaan, Once Given, Is Not Returned

A yogdaan is a contribution, made with intention, for a service to be rendered. Once you have made a yogdaan, it is not refundable — not in part, not in full, not for any reason.

This is by design, not by oversight. Sumeeran operates on a non-recurring, manual yogdaan model precisely so that there is no need for refunds:

03Exceptions

The "no refunds" policy applies in all normal circumstances. The narrow exceptions below exist for situations that are clearly our fault or clearly an error, not for change of mind:

3.1 Duplicate Payment

If you accidentally pay the yogdaan twice within the same 24-hour window, write to us at hello@sumeeran.com with both Razorpay payment references. We will refund the duplicate within 5 business days.

3.2 Incorrect Amount

If you paid an amount different from ₹299 or ₹2,999 (for example, due to a payment error or wrong link), write to us with proof. We will refund the difference within 5 business days.

3.3 Service Not Delivered

If, due to circumstances entirely on our side (not WhatsApp / Meta, not your device, not your network), we are unable to deliver any daily messages for more than 3 consecutive days, we will extend your paid period by an equivalent number of days at no additional yogdaan. We do not provide cash refunds for service interruption.

3.4 Service Discontinuation

If we discontinue Sumeeran entirely, all subscribers within an active paid period will continue to receive daily messages for the remainder of their period, or 30 days from the discontinuation announcement, whichever is greater. No cash refunds are issued.

04Pausing vs. Stopping

You can stop receiving messages at any time, but it does not affect the yogdaan already paid:

Most subscribers who wish to step away choose non-renewal, which is the cleanest path.

गोसेवा संकल्प · Seva Commitment

5% Goshala Seva

As stated in our Terms of Service, 5% of every yogdaan received is contributed to verified goshalas (cow shelters) across India each calendar quarter. This is a binding commitment.

Subscribers who wish to know which goshalas received contributions, the amounts contributed, and copies of receipts may request these details by writing to hello@sumeeran.com. We will share the information privately within 7 working days. We do not publish these details on the public website out of respect for the goshalas' privacy and to keep this exchange a direct one between us and our subscribers.

05Disputes

If you believe a yogdaan was charged in error and your situation falls within the narrow exceptions in Section 03, you may escalate as follows:

  1. Email us first at hello@sumeeran.com with subject "Yogdaan Query" — include the Razorpay payment reference and the issue. We respond within 48 hours and resolve within 7 working days where the exception applies.
  2. Razorpay dispute — for payment-processing disputes, Razorpay provides their own resolution mechanism.
  3. Consumer protection — as a service provider in India, we are subject to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. You may approach the appropriate forum in your jurisdiction.

We are committed to honest, transparent operations. If we have made a genuine error, we will correct it. But we will not refund yogdaan for change of mind, dissatisfaction, or any reason outside the exceptions above.
